Richie Francis, a service engineer at Zeiss Medical Technology, has been recently featured in Zeiss’ magazine for his work as an urban farmer at The Plantation – Parks Heights Urban Garden! A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Richie was raised around gardening, cooking and eating with fresh food, all a common practice on the Caribbean Island. Coming to Baltimore he sought to recreate this culture of growing food and soon after The Plantation was born!
